Gullible Girl Pranked Into Believing Wild Family Events After Texting Wrong Number

#1 It turned out that imgur user jayology‘s cousin had an old number that he hadn’t used since 2005 and had since been given to someone else.

This weekend, my cousin Vicki sent me a text. Or at least she thought she sent me a text. It turns out she had an old number of mine saved on her phone, a number I haven't used since '05. This isn't me replying to her texts, but she thinks it is.

While all of this is happening, Vicki is in contact with our cousin Todd. Meanwhile, I am taking an awesome Saturday afternoon nap, unaware of any of this. Vicki and Todd both attempt to call me, but I was at a movie the night before and forgot to turn up the volume on my phone.

#6 Yes, Vicki called my mom, who left me a message saying she would call the police if she didn’t hear from me soon.
