I once won a basketball on a claw machine. I was delighted at the time but then I went through a process where I tried to convince myself that I liked basketball even though I was like 4'8″ and I hated it.

Luckily these people didn't win something that turned out to be more of a curse in fact they didn't win anything. They got made a fool out of. Still funny though.

Basically, to prank fans, the Chicago Bears (NFL?) hid their mascot (who is a bear (well, a man dressed as a bear (sorry to ruin the magic))) in a giant claw machine who would then jump and move about at opportune moments.
