#1. Winifred "Winnie" Sanderson, portrayed by Bette Midler

Bette Midler, the main star of Hocus Pocus is one of the three evil witches who loves to dance and eat children!

Since the release of the movie, Midler has continued appearing in different films. In 2000, the actress starred in the CBS sitcom BETTE for one season. She also played the role of Eleanor in 'Sweet baby Jesus'. Midler has shown interest in the remake of Hocus Pocus. "For the life of me, I can't understand why there's not a sequel", she said.

#2. Mary Sanderson, portrayed by Kathy Najimy

Kathy Najimy is the middle Sanderson sister in the movie who is as scary as the other two of the trio.

Kathy gave the voice of Peggy Hill on the series 'The King of the hill' for its 13 seasons. The actress has performed in several movies since Hocus Pocus release and is interested in its sequel. Responding to Midler's tweet about Hocus Pocus sequel, she tweeted back saying, “Hocus people, Bette says it best. Listen to your elders!”.

#3. Sarah Sanderson, portrayed by Sarah Jessica Parker

Sarah is the youngest Sanderson who is crazy about boys.

Known for her role in Sex and the City, the actress has achieved several awards. The Hocus Pocus star is currently starring as Frances Dufresne in the HBO series Divorce.

#4. Dani Dennison, portrayed by Thora Birch

Dani is the sometimes annoying yet lovable younger sister of Max.

After starring as Dani in Hocus Pocus, Birch continued her childhood career by taking up roles in movies like Monkey Trouble, Now and Then and Alaska.

In 2016, the actress landed the recurring role of Morgan on USA Network’s Colony.

#5. Thackery Binx, portrayed by Sean Murray

Sean Murray plays the role of Binx, a teenager who tries to save her sister who has fallen victim to the Sanderson's.

Since his role in Hocus Pocus, the actor has made guest appearances on many TV shows like Harts of the West, ER, JAG, Touched by an Angel and Boston Public.

Omri Katz played the role of Max Dennison, the new kid in town who doesn't like Halloween.

Katz has made guest appearances on various TV shows like The John Larroquette Show, Freaks and Geeks and General Hospital. He has not acted since his role in a short movie Journey into Night which was released in 2002.
