Hawk Tuah Woman Makes Unexpected Revelation About Family Life
Haliey Welch, known on the internet as the 'Hawk Tuah Woman,' opened up about her family in an interview on a podcast where she also chatted with comedian Matt Rife.
Welch gained internet fame after a one-off interview where she was asked to name a move that makes men 'go crazy.'
The 21-year-old responded, "You gotta give ’em that ‘hawk tuah’ and spit on that thang. You get me?"
Of course, 'that thang' refers to a leather boot that you spit on to polish it properly, driving people 'crazy' with how well-shined it is.
If anybody is thinking differently, that's on them.
Since that video went viral on social media, Welch has embraced her newfound fame.
She’s made public appearances and even launched her own line of hats featuring her catchy phrase.
In a recent interview on Whitney Cummings’ weekly podcast, Good For You, Welch discussed her family background more openly.
During the interview, Welch candidly talked about her family, particularly her mom.
She started by revealing her celebrity crush, comedian Matt Rife.
Coincidentally, Cummings is friends with Rife and decided to FaceTime him so Welch could meet him.
Rife asked Welch her age and then inquired, "How is your mom?"
Welch replied bluntly, "My mama a crackhead, you don’t want her," and referred to herself as a 'crack baby.'
She then said that it was her upbringing that made her 'so funny.'
Rife went on to invite Welch to one of his shows that he would be performing in Nashville.
He said, "I’m in Nashville August 24th doing Bridgestone Arena, do you want to come out?"
Welch started giggling before accepting Rife's invitation to his upcoming concert.
The comedian then asked what kind of seat Welch wanted when she came to the gig, asking:
"Do you want front row, or do you wanna be off to the side like backstage? What do you prefer?"
Welch replied confidently, telling Rife, "Put me back there with you, my boy."
Rife went on to tell Welch, "Oh my God, you gotta meet more celebrities if I’m your celebrity crush. This is so cute."
Finally, when the call ended, Rife hung up with the parting shot, "Love you Haliey, see you soon."
