Goodbye hand-me-downs!
#4
he starts by building the benches with supports and studs.
#5
this is followed by attaching vertical and horizontal supports on the floor to prevent the booth from bending backwards.
#6
Next, he wrapped the bench around the other walls. These supports couldn't attach to studs, so square supports that attached to the wall were built instead.
#7
Plywood created the bench seats.
#8
Seat foam was cut to size to make the benches more comfortable.
#9
Waterproof outdoor fabric was used to cover the seats. This makes for an easy clean-up in case of spills.
#10
The fabric was stapled to the benches.
#11
Bead board was cut to size for the bench facing.
#12
A hole for the AC vent.
#13
The vent covers up any small mistakes that were made when the hole was cut.
#14
Trim was attached with an electric nail gun.
#15
Any gaps were filled in with caulk, and then the bead board was painted white.
#16
Finally, the custom-built table was put in place.
