He Saw This Family Driving Near The Pier, But The HORROR That Happened Next Is Chilling
#1
This is one of the most horrific tragedies you will hear today. Last Saturday night, a family of six were driving near the Buncrana Pier in Ireland, when their car went off the edge into the water. Thankfully there was a witness nearby was unknowingly about to be a here! He jumped in after the family to save them. Unfortunately, he couldn't save them all.

When he saw that the family was in distress, Davitt stripped down to his boxers and dove in the water to try and save them. when he reached the car, the father handed him his baby. The baby passed from the window of sinking car is the only survivor of this tragedy.
Ruth Daniels, 57, her 15-year-old daughter Jodie-Lee, Sean McGrotty, 46 - the partner of Ms Daniels' other daughter - and her two grandsons, 12-year-old Mark and Evan, eight, all died when their car "nosedived" into the harbor.

He had one of the young boys by the arm, and was trying to pull him out. Tragically, he could not pull the child through the window and had to let him go.
Davitt went on to say:
"The water rushed in and the next thing he [the father] just looked at me and said ‘Save the baby' and he went back into his family and the car just went straight down. I still had the young fella's hand and I just let go of him. His foot must have got caught on something because I nearly had him out"

He also went on to say that the father had a chance to make it out of the vehicle. He was already halfway out, but must have made the choice not to. It would seem that he decided that he would rather go down with his family than make it out and live life without them. :(
