He Sees Something Moving Inside A Trash Bag... But When THIS Emerges From It? Whoa!

An adorable 12-week-old puppy is now comfortable, resting, and recovering after rescuers saved him from awful conditions.
Packard is a chocolate lab and pit bull mix, estimated to be between 12 and 14 weeks old. With his big eyes, he can steal hearts and make you melt. And volunteers at the Detroit Dog Rescue saved him just in time from the cold rain and from a trash bag.

He was found inside, stuffed with trash and cans. Some workers passing by in a van saw movement in the bag, and thankfully decided to alert the organization to what may be hiding inside.
And sure enough, when volunteers arrived, they found this poor pup rummaging inside. However, it's unclear as to how exactly Packard got inside the bag whether he dove in on his own to search for food, or if he was intentionally dumped there by someone.

Packard was taken to a veterinary clinic, where he was examined; it was determined that he is underweight, and has worms and some respiratory issues. But he's expected to recover, and when he does, he will be put up for adoption so a loving family can take him home!
