Heart Warming Celebrity Valentine’s Day Moments

Valentine’s Day may only come once a year, but some celebrities have shown enough love on their social media to make us believe that V Day is every single day. Some of us can’t help but find inspiration from celebrities on how to step up our A game in our relationships the following Valentine’s Day after we get a glimpse of how some of our favorite actors and actresses celebrate this special day. If you are not in a relationship? Well there is nothing wrong with simply living vicariously through celebrity Snap Chats, Tweets, videos and interviews about how much they love their partner.
Before the internet became mainstream we never knew what celebrities were up to on this lovely day, which made us wonder. Thanks to social media sites like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, we can see just how much entertainers really love their partner and we get a backstage look at their love life. We all know that some celebrity relationships come and go but the ones that have been around for a while (and are captured on the internet) are memorable. While some are modest in their displays of affections, others know how to show us how it needs to be done.
#1. Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner – Vintage Necklace
Ivanka Trump, the daughter of Donald Trump has had a luxurious lifestyle that most girls could have only dreamed of. When compared to all of the other socialites we have seen on TV, she is a savvy business woman with a relationship she holds close to her heart. Ivanka admitted in 2014 that she got "A gorgeous vintage necklace that my husband gave me. I'm making it increasingly difficult for him to buy me things. I have a jewelry line, a clothing line, a shoe line, and a handbag line, so he has to either go the vintage route or go completely outside of the box." Now that's how you celebrate V Day.
#2. Alessandra Ambrosio and Jamie Mazur – Beach!
In many men's minds, the gorgeous model Alessandra Ambrosio has been single since her first time she booked a real modeling job on the cover of Brazilian Elle magazine. The Victoria's Secret model has been engaged to Jamie Mazur since spring of 2008; that is almost 8 years. We've heard the age old saying that relationships can get stale but Alessandra knows how to keep the blaze flaming. Last year, she showed her love for Jamie by spending some romantic time on a beach. Given that she is a model, you can only imagine she looked as good, if not better than any of her past swimsuit catalogue photographs. We can only imagine how they will be celebrating this year, but let's hope it shows up on social media!
#3. Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union – Charity
This cute couple has had their share of opinions from their fans especially when Dwyane Wade had a child from another woman when he and Gabrielle Union split a year ago. Gabrielle received backlash for taking Dwyane back even when she while being a good step mom to his three children with no wedding ring after dating for 7 years. Nonetheless, the two are finally married and the Instagram photos show us that their love is real. Last year the duo spent time at an All Star Bowling event in New York City, while raising money for two charities called Sandals Foundation and Wade's World. Proof that sometimes you can show the love to different groups of people.
#4. Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness
Jackman plays an amazing role as Wolverine in the Marvel Comics X-Men films with a sculpted body like a Roman gladiator. Believe it or not, Hugh Jackman has been married to his wife Deborra-Lee Furness since 1996 which is long before he ever donned the claws. Even when the paparazzi takes pictures of the two, you can see that he truly loves his family. Last Valentine's Day, Jack decided to show us a Throwback Sunday photo of the two with the hash tag My Debs. As much as we love our celebrity couples, there is something sincere when a man holds onto the lady he first met before he became "famous."
#5. Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake, Grab and Kiss
When these two celebs became an official couple, the gossip mill on the blogs broke the internet. We watched Justin Timberlake and his relationship with Britney Spears and felt sorry for the reason behind their break up while watching his video for "Cry Me a River" in 2003. Britney Spears fans were praying for this couple to get married and have children but it didn't work out as planned. After dating other Hollywood entertainers, he finally made the big jump and married Jessica Biel. While they were newly married one Valentine's Day, Justin tweeted ""Happy V-day!!! Grab somebody and kiss 'em (or just say Happy Valentine's Day to them. Actually, yeah Just do that. Or, just kiss 'em!) !!!?"
#6. Leighton Meester and Adam Brody – Tying The Knot
During the V Day weekend in 2014, this gossip-free couple tied the knot. When Adam Brody played Seth Cohen in the hit TV show The O.C., there were millions of girls around the world wishing they could eventually have a chance with him. His boy next door looks and crush he had on Summer Roberts (Rachel Bilson) for the entire season helped his chances of eventually being in a real relationship with the starlet for 6 years. Adam eventually found his true love with Leighton Meester who gave birth to their daughter Arlo Day. Hands down, there are no amount of roses, heart shaped balloons and expensive jewelry that can top a wedding on V Day.
#7. Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon – Central Park
Nick Cannon publicly admitted that Mariah Carey was the woman of his dreams at a young age when most men fell in love with the R&B songstress. The two met and within a few months got married like a fairytale story. Social media was this ex couple's best friend with numerous pictures of their expression of love and time spent with their children. During their marriage in 2013, they posted pictures of a horse and carriage ride in Central Park followed with rose petals at Mariah's castlelesque condo. Ironically, Mariah Carey is now engaged to one of Australia's most richest moguls, James Packer. I'm sure he can top Nick's previous celebrations.
#8. John Legend and Chrissy Teigen – Good Morning America
Before getting married, it seemed like John and Chrissy were only dating for a few years. Little did we know, the two were a match for 7 years before John Legend popped the question according to the couple's interview with Oprah Winfrey. Chrissy Teigen admitted that the 7-year courtship was a long wait but she knew they would eventually tie the knot. We all know John Legend for his romantic love songs and his innocent charm. About 2 years ago, the two love birds spent the day on Good Morning America where she made John's favorite desert while he performed.
#9. Zoe Kravitz – Singles Awareness Day
Zoe Kravitz can thank her parents for showing her what real love should be like. Her father Lenny Kravitz was a hit alternative rock star in the 90s and her mother fell in love with the artist shortly after the end of her role on The Cosby Show. Zoe has never been afraid of being herself despite the limelight. She took to Twitter on February 14, 2015 to say "Happy Singles awareness day." Zoe also included a picture quote that she had a crush on so many things other than people. Zoe was once linked to Noah Gabriel Becker and had a short lived hook up with Toronto native rapper Drake. Regardless, Zoe knows how to stay in the Valentine's Day spirit as a single lady.
#10. Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady – Sunset Kiss
Gisele Bundchen has lived a picturesque life while traveling around the world to walk the runways with the most luxurious designers. There was a time when I thought this lady would never settle down because of her grueling work schedule while she was one of the top paid and constantly working models of our time. For her most recent Valentine's Day, she showed a few pictures of her and her husband Tom Brady, in one of which the two were kissing as the sun was setting. I am sure that Leonard DiCaprio wishes he had stayed and tried to make things work after seeing this picture.
#11. Kerry Washington – Candy Bar
To all of the people out there that are simply in love with their job, you're not alone. When you spend more time at work than you do at home, sometimes celebrities have no choice but to celebrate heart day while working. Kerry Washington is married to former NFL football player Nnamdi Asomugha and the two have done an excellent job at keeping their relationship tight lipped even before they got married. What a better way to dodge the blogs and social media speculation on your relationship, than to treat your co-workers on the set of Scandal to all the sweets they could possible eat?!
