Heidi Klum Has Proven Over The Years That She Is The Queen Of Halloween!

Even if you're not the type to dress up on Halloween, Heidi Klum's annual outfits are something to keep your eye out for. Every year she goes all out with her costumes. Most of them take hours for her to put on.
Back in 2008 she caused a little controversy and got everyone's attention with her Hindu Goddess Kali costume. In 2011 she surprised everybody at her party when she was wheeled in on an autopsy table by bloody doctors while wearing a dead body costume. In 2015 she topped them all with her Jessica Rabbit costume. That costume alone took 8 months to plan. She absolutely loves to outdo herself each year.

2000: S&M Pippi Longstocking
At her very first Halloween bash, the Project Runway host took S&M to a new level with a shiny black-leather getup, complete with ebony wig and spiked collar. Pippi Longstocking has never been more appealing.
2001: Lady Godiva
Klum followed up the beginning of her infamous Halloween career with a bang as a bloodied version of the 11th-century Anglo-Saxon noblewoman, Lady Godiva. Transitioning from hardcore to equestrian, Klum took on Lady Godiva rocking up to the 2001 party on horseback, in a latex catsuit and luminous, lengthy white wig, Klum stamped herself a serious spooky contender.
2002: Betty Boop
While I can’t verify that those aren’t Heidi’s genuine … assets, I think that she might have gotten a little bit of padded help to achieve this look as curvy cartoon character Betty Boop. But by golly, doesn't she totally look ferocious! Decked out in blinging fake jewels, Heidi vamped up the poor caricature of a Jazz Age flapper to within an inch of her flapper life.
2003: Gold Alien
Golden Goddess? Goldfinger? Alien? While I can’t pinpoint exactly what Klum is trying to embody with this look, her chromed teeth and wiry curls are almost enough to distract you from her golden boobs. Landing at her 2003 haunted Halloween bash this gold space alien with metallic armor and thick braids bursting out of her golden helmet was an awesome site to behold.
2004: Red Witch
Heidi's date for her 2004 Halloween party was a skeleton that piggybacked on the model for the duration of the evening. Klum, herself, chose a red witch as her guise and navigated her way around the party with a giant wooden broom to keep her patent heeled boots steady. Klum looks bewitching in this outfit with a skeleton hanging from her shoulders. She is one red-hot witch.
2005: Sexy Vampire
Predating the Twilight vampire craze by a few years, Heidi has shown that you don't have to sparkle to be a hot bloodsucker. Who knew that vampires actually enjoyed burlesque fashion? With a bleeding heart pinned onto her corset and a cobweb cape trailing behind her, an ultra-curly Klum put other revelers to shame.
2006: The Original Sin
This costume was a beast to make. As costume collaborator, Martin Izquierdo recalls, in 2006 the sinful apple was the most taxing costume of Klum's to create because the German model was very pregnant at that point in time. To top off the costume that included a bloody apple and a snake, Seal, her husband, dressed up as a blonde Eve. What fun for the garden of Eden.
2007: Evil Kitty
Looking catwalk appropriate, Klum donned a full catsuit, feline whiskers, and a collar to look like a picture-perfect kitty. You can't blame the Halloween queen for donning a catsuit once in her costume career. Good old Heidi passed on the sexy Catwoman vibe in favor of a velveteen catsuit, complete with collar, whiskers, and subtle feline fangs.
2008: Goddess Kali
Picture Hindu goddess Kali and you'll probably recall her multiple colorful arms. You probably won't envisage a bonus arm belt with bloody hands hanging off it, or a couple of decapitated heads clasped in her fingertips. Such was a blue-dipped Klum's interpretation of Kali in 2008. Heidi said that her assistant had come up with the idea for this elaborate costume. "My husband and I were in India last year, so she said, 'Why don't you do an Indian goddess? Like a scary Indian goddess?' And I said 'OK!'" Sadly, not everyone was happy with her costume. Some Hindu leaders found it denigrating.
2009: The Crow
She might have been inspired by a classic Edgar Allen Poe poem or a classic Hitchcock flick, but Klum’s costume for her 2009 bash was all feathers. Heidi and then-husband Seal twinned as two crows. While the costumes made the couple look like monster-size birds, the getups weren't at all practical. "It was bad. My husband was driving and he could hardly see anything," Heidi said. "When you have a beak on, you can't talk to anyone, you can't really drink. It's not a good costume." Noted!
2010: Super Heidi
All Hallow's Eve 2010 saw Klum transform herself into a robot. Heidi chose red and purple as her superhero colors and danced the night away in a pair of hydraulic crane shoes. Heidi's superhero bot suit combined Iron Man's metallic armor with Mystique's boldly colored skin and hair. Heidi described the costume as being "larger than life" and she was being literal when she said that. In her stilt-like boots, she towered over everyone at the party.
2011: “Bodies” Cadaver
Heidi looked like a part of that traveling exhibit when she showed up to her first of two Halloween parties, this one in Las Vegas. Do you remember that exhibition that went around the world featuring the preserved remains of actual people? If not, ask yourself, what would Heidi Klum look like without skin? It's not an image most people think about or want to see but beauty drew inspiration from the human anatomy 2011's “Visible Woman” costume. "It's kind of like a dead body with the first layer of skin ripped off," Heidi explained. "It’s basically like me naked." She said that she called this costume the "visible woman."
2011: Planet of the Apes
For her second Halloween party of 2011, Heidi and Seal arrived as apes. Covered head-to-toe in simian-like hair, Klum even secured a pair of prosthetic monkey breasts for her ape evolution in 2011. Heidi's husband of seven years, Seal, made for a menacing beau by her side. The makeup took nearly six hours to apply, she said and included fake breasts. She and Seal looked like they were so in love, but just a few months later, they announced their split.
2012: Golden Cleopatra
Heidi teased her Halloween costume for 2012 but ended up postponing the party out of respect for the victims of Hurricane Sandy, which hit just before Halloween. When she finally did have her party in December, she showed up in an improved version of the costume she had previewed. After a few years of being "ugly," she wanted "something really pretty and sparkly for a change," she told US Weekly. There were hundreds of crystals on her face that were applied individually.
2013: 95 Year Old Heidi Klum
For her 2013 party, Klum showed off what she would look like as a geriatric version of herself. She was blessed with grey hair, lashings of wrinkles and pigmented skin. The German model topped off her look with a bouclé skirt suit, pearls, and a walking stick. Even as an elderly woman she's still kind of attractive.
2014: The Butterfly
In 2014 the supermodel transformed into a butterfly - a gigantic one, incorporating huge rainbow-hued wings and mesmerizing bug eyes. After five hours in the makeup chair, her metamorphosis into a butterfly was complete. She chose the butterfly costume because someone very special to her called her a, schmetterling, which is German for butterfly. She said: "They're just so pretty and colorful and I used to love painting butterflies."
2015: Jessica Rabbit
Fictional character Jessica Rabbit was Klum's muse for the 2015 holiday. To get the voluptuous figure the model spent days prior to the party in a prosthetics lab, leading her Instagram following to suspect she might be dressing up as curvaceous Kim Kardashian.
2016: Clones Of Herself
Instead of dealing with the hell of hours of makeup, last year Heidi had 5 others do it. Together they pulled off the amazing "Clones of Heidi" costume. As you can see, she put's a lot of thought and work into her getups every year. One can only hope she continues to top herself every year until she's actually 95 years old Heidi.
