Several websites recently ran articles that stated that Serena Beuford, 27, of Boston had a terrible freak accident while working out at the gym recently. The story of the accident was so wild and unbelievable that it quickly went viral as everyone wanted to see the results.

The story goes that Beuford was squatting when she "heard a loud pop." I know what you're thinking, how does that even sound remotely possible. You have to remember that people in this day and age will believe anything they hear even if it doesn't make sense.

Anyway, continuing on, the article continues by saying that a bystander heard her screaming "my ass is gone!" There you have another clue about the false nature of this story. I don't care who you are or how vain you are if you had some devastating injury like that occur I promise you the last thing you would be worried about is your implant.

Anyway, the article continues and says "I had no idea what she was talking about until I saw her cushion like butt missing when EMS took her out the gym. She used to always show off her butt in the gym and tried to get guys attention with her work outs."

If the story sounds very farfetched, it should; if you haven't figured it out yet it's completely false. Several REAL news outlets investigated the story, for what reason IDK, but they did and they discovered that the original report was a fabrication.

First, let's think about what that means for us as a society. Instead of focusing on real news that going on in the world around us, our news agencies are busy going on wild goose chases to verify stories that are obviously fake. I mean what the hell. Is this what journalism is today? And let's not forget, people are inherently stupid in this connected age apparently so this it's one of those urban legends that will make its way around Facebook for quite a while.

Not that it matters, but I'm not a fan of butt implants anyway. I prefer the look and feel of the real thing. However, I highly doubt that they would actually pop under normal conditions. If they did, people wouldn't get them. Wait, what am I talking about of course they would. People have no danger sense. Well, I guess I will leave you with this, if you do get injections, remember: you don't have to head to the gym.
