Google regularly collects data and forms top 10 lists.

Reflecting what a varied (if nothing else) year that we've had, both the UK and the worldwide list include "Donald Trump", "Pokemon Go" and "Deadpool".

Google also dropped some more detailed search results for each country.

They revealed that in the UK we were wondering about Pokemon Go, Brexit, and the single market the most:

Over in entertainment, and we were googling a lot of reality TV stars

On the politician list, Donald Trump was (obviously) at the top.

He was closely followed by new British Prime Minister Theresa May, Jo Cox (who was murdered in June), and Hillary Clinton.

On the “how to” list, we were asking “how to play pokemon go”, “how to lose weight well”, and “how to get an Irish passport”.
