A young man in China has been called a hero for attempting to catch a woman falling from the 11th floor of an apartment building with his bare hands. In Enchi city, in China's Hubei province, Feng Ning heard the woman's screams as she fell and he attempted to use just his bare arms to break her fall.

Sadly, the woman did not survive, and Ning picked up substantial injuries from the impact. "I don't regret. It's a shame that I couldn't save her," said Feng. Onlookers, however, are hailing him as a hero for his quick reactions and thoughtfulness. He is now being treated in hospital. He was knocked out by the impact and suffered injuries on his knee joints, and had a tibial plateau fracture. His anterior and posterior cruciate ligaments and the medial ligament have been dislocated.
