Scientists are the smartest people of the lot, they have so many degrees and diplomas that you can't even fathom them to make mistakes.
Scientists have to do a lot of fieldwork and they seem to do it with accuracy and precision. But nonetheless, they are humans like you and me. They all tend to make mistakes.
Outside their controlled labs they tend to loose their much-valued control and get a little messy...outdoorsy.
