Disturbing footage that has been circulating on Twitter shows a group of teenagers badly beating a pregnant Illinois mom and they even kicked her toddler. The teens continued hitting the poor woman on the floor while one girl filmed the whole situation. Brooklyn police says they responded to a “disturbance” involving both adults and minors at the Thomas Terrance Apartments.

A group of teens reportedly battered a pregnant Illinois mom and even kicked her toddler too. The disturbing footage that has been doing rounds on social media shows two young women attacking a pregnant woman as she stood with her young daughter outside a home Friday in the village of Brooklyn.

The girls were seen attacking and hitting the woman repeatedly s she tried to shield herself. A third girl filmed the attack on the mom, who is pregnant, The Sun reported.
As the group was continuously beating the mom, another young man started kicking the toddler. He then proceeded to stomp on the mother’s head, as she struggled on the ground.
The mother of the young man even had the audacity to say that the kick was an "accident."

“He didn’t try 2 kick that baby he tried 2 jump over the baby on to her and made a mistake…as y’all can see the baby ran from under the girl fighting while he was coming down,” said the mom, who was not identified in the report.
“My kid is not that type 2 kick a baby…accident [sic] happen.”

Brooklyn police say they have responded to the disturbing footage that involves both adults and minors. They were able to speak to a female victim, who had suffered a minor head injury and was able to identify her assailants.

The accused attackers' names have not been released pending charges. and the Police said they are actively investigating and the case will be referred to the St. Clair County State’s Attorney’s Office.
