#1 ARYA STARK

Arya Stark is the tomboyish 3rd child of Eddard Stark. She is played by 20-year-old Maisie Williams. Arya has four siblings, Robb, Bran, and Rickon are her brothers while Sansa is her older sister. She loves fighting and wants to explore the world. These skills become most valuable on her journey around Westeros.

#2 MASIE WILLIAMS

Arya has had a very horrific journey so far. She spent half of season 5 being blind for example. But she has grown so much throughout the series becoming a formidable foe for those she wishes vengeance upon. Maisie herself grew up on screen, transforming from a child actor to a world-renowned star.

#3 CERSEI LANNISTER

43-year-old Lena Headey plays Cersei Lannister. She had a very hard time in seasons 5 & 6 after being stripped of power by the Faith Militant. She was made to walk naked through the city while being heckled and covered with rotten food. Having destroyed her enemies in the season six finale, Cersei looks to be the biggest threat to Westeros.

#4 LENA HEADEY

Cersei looked amazing in season 1 with her long, flowing blonde hair, but she now wears a short, cropped haircut. Lena’s previous acting credits include The Brothers Grimm, Dredd and 300: Rise Of An Empire.

#5 BRAN STARK

After becoming fading to the background in recent seasons of Game Of Thrones, to the point of not even being featured in one season, Bran Stark will finally be a significant player in season seven. Fans are hoping to see the young Stark reunited with his siblings Jon Snow and Sansa Stark in the north.

#6 ISAAC HEMPSTEAD WRIGHT

Bran is played by Isaac Hempstead Wright, 18, who has also voiced characters in Family Guy and animated adventure The Boxtrolls.

#7 JAIME LANNISTER

Jaime Lannister, played by Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, 46, is one of the more complex characters in Game Of Thrones. His moral conscience becomes more prominent as the story progresses and the character becomes far more compassionate.

#8 NIKOLAJ COSTER-WALDAU

At the end of series six, Jamie was shocked to discover Cersei had destroyed the Faith Militant and killed the Tyrells, Grand Maester Pycelle and their uncle Kevan in order to take power and claim the throne. Jaime looked handsome and brooding in season one, but now appears tired and disheveled.

#9 SANSA STARK

Game Of Thrones fans cheered for Sansa Stark as she fed evil ruler Ramsay Bolton to hungry hounds. Fan theories suggest that Sansa’s allegiance with Littlefinger might not last long into the new series.

#10 SOPHIE TURNER

Away from Game Of Thrones, 21-year-old actress Sophie Turner has found success as Jean Grey in the X-Men movie franchise. Sansa's struggles have taken their toll - she has lost the fresh-faced innocence she displayed in season one.
