#1 Have you ever bought earrings from the mall that have had that plastic bit on the back of them. Like this:
Well what you probably thought that the plastic bit was part and parcel of the earring design, right? However it is in fact an add on, designed to prevent the back of the earring from being lost in its packaging. You are suppose to remove this bit once it has been taken out from its packaging.
I never quite understood why some had that round plastic circle connected to the earring back. Until now!
It always felt weird whenever I wore them like this, but I just presumed (like many others) that they were meant to be this way.
#2 Ahh, the wonders of the internet!
Recently a woman on twitter called Chelsea Smith blew the internet away with this photo revelation she posted.
As it turns out we girls were all just a smidgen wrong, you are suppose to remove those plastic backs.
