It works as boiling water freezes and turns to crystals as soon as it comes into contact with the cold air.

Temperatures in the country are usually between -1C and -24C during the winter months.

The craze has previously been popular in England, with experts forced to warn it should not be tried unless temperatures dip to around -30C.
