To begin with, people on the internet have been bonding over things they hate since the dawn of time. That being said, this list has some real head scratchers. Seriously, some states just have very abnormal dislikes. Massachusetts disliking Eli Manning is understandable since that's Patriots country, but what's the deal with North Carolina and hating DUI checkpoints? People have to be kept safe somehow.

If you love Pride and Prejudice, it's best you don't visit Michigan since they hate it up there. I mean sure it's probably a good thing that you are cultured enough to know enough about the book to dislike it but come on. While we are ragging on the state of Michigan, people of Oregon, what's the big deal with hating spin class? Geez just don't take the class. You're not being forced.

Several states have very normal, reasonable hates that everyone can understand like Kentuckians hating to be asked to help someone move and Hawaiians hating people who make video recordings during concerts. If I had to choose the worst one out of the two it would definitely be moving because I even hate doing it for myself.

But you want to know something bizarrely ironic? In Washington D.C. you are very likely to find a soulmate over the shared hatred of the concept that all people have a soulmate. Like a match made in hate heaven.

If you're the kind of person that just bites down into string cheese you better avoid Illinois because you won't find any love there. Meanwhile in Minnesota, if you want to find your soulmate at a bar, offer someone a drink because they hate drinking alone.
