Jennifer Lopez And Ben Affleck Are Engaged And Set To Marry Soon

Jennifer Lopez has confirmed her engagement to beau Ben Affleck and their fans are escalated on hearing this.

The 52-year-old actress and singer shared a video of herself crying and looking at her engagement ring on Friday night on her official website.

Jennifer showed off her sparkling ring in the short video clip.

The 13-second video started off with a black screen and the view zooms into her ring first and then moves up to her face.

The mother of two is visibly wiping away tears of joy as she stared at her emerald and diamond sparkler.

In the video, Jennifer is sporting a casual green top, knitted cardigan and minimal makeup.

She can be heard happily singing 'I am perfect' in the song that played along with the video.

Their romantic history dates back to 2004 when the duo got engaged 18 years back.

Their relationship initially came as a shock to the world. Now they are reunited in May 2021 - 17 years after their failed engagement.

In April 2021, Jennifer confirmed the end of her relationship with Alex Rodriguez, a former New York Yankee after the pair dated for four years and were engaged for two years. 

Then in Midy May last year, Jennifer was in Los Angeles when the rumors of her reigniting the spark with Affleck made it to the internet. 

'Jennifer was just in Los Angeles for a couple of days,' a source told People. 'She spent time with Ben. They have kept in touch every day since their Montana trip.'

Much to their fans' delight, the couple went official with their relationship on Instagram in July while on a European holiday in honor of her 52nd birthday.  

The power couple has continued going from strength to strength in their relationship since then, attending red carpet events and spending time together around the world. 

Ben and Jen first started dating in early 2002 after meeting on set of Gigli.

They got engaged in November 2002 after Ben proposed to his love lady with a 6.1 carat radiant cut pink diamond ring with two trapezoid white diamonds, mounted on an 18K pink gold and platinum band from Harry Winston.

The ring is now worth an estimated $12 million, with it costing Ben at the time (November 2002) a reported $1.2 million.

The whopping rise in worth is due to the price of the rare colored diamond, which has soared.

They were set to get married in September 2003, however, postponed their wedding and eventually broke up in January 2004.

Ben shares three kids with ex-wife Jennifer Garner: daughters Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13, and son Samuel, 10. 

Jennifer has two children with ex-husband Marc Anthony: twins Max and Emme, 13.  

Rumors about the couple's engagement made it to the headlines when Jennifer she was stepping out with daughter Emme.

She was turning the ring to hide the huge diamond while walking out of the store.

It is yet to be known when Ben got down on one knee and proposed to Jennifer again.

A few weeks back it was reported they were in escrow and putting down over $50 million on a massive mansion. 

The 20,000 square foot estate is located in the luxurious Bel-Air neighborhood in LA and can easily accommodate their blended family as it features 10 bedrooms and 17 bathrooms.
