Jimmy Carr Has Audience Member Thrown Out For Calling Him A C**t
Carr summons security and says, "Security guys, hello," after raising quite a stir.
The heckler mockingly cries back: "Security! You f***ing c**t."
The comedian recently received backlash for a joke on the Holocaust in his Netflix series His Dark Material.
During the brief part, Carr discusses the Holocaust and the Nazis' horrifying atrocities, remarking that it wasn't all awful.
He says: "When people talk about the Holocaust, they talk about the tragedy and horror of six million Jewish lives being lost to the Nazi war machine.”
"But they never mention the thousands of Gypsies that were killed by the Nazis.”
"No one ever wants to talk about that, because no one ever wants to talk about the positives."
Resurfaced footage from a season two episode of The Green Room with Paul Provenza in 2011 has been making the rounds on social media, with rumors of cancel culture looming.
The 49-year-old was asked: "What is the most offensive joke you've ever written?"
Which, Carr responds: "If only Africa had more mosquito nets, then every year we could save millions of mosquitoes from dying needlessly of AIDS."
However, the joke from his Netflix special that is currently causing a lot of controversies is the one described before.
Many viewers were appalled by the joke, and others demanded that the show be removed from Netflix.
"Goes to show what some people think," one Facebook user wrote beside the video on his profile.
"I have one thing to say thank you for sharing your views on gypsies as this spreads hate. And it shows the world the abundance of abuse we take as gypsy people, glad the audience found it funny."
