Travolta's Jett-Bleu estate is named after his first two children, Jett and Ella Bleu, and it even has a parking spot for his planes.
John Travolta's Mansion Is All Kinds Of Ridiculous
#1 Jett-Bleu Estate
John Travolta's mansion appears like a city of its own, with airplane hangars attached to the estate. The size of the house and property are pretty bad-ass.
#2 The Estate
The 6400 sq.foot estate is located in Central Florida and is one of a kind with its 16 car garage and three private airplane hangars. He owns five planes, so three really are not enough. "John had a vision of how he wanted everything to be," says designer Sherri James, of Michael James Design Team in Southern California. "We just implemented his ideas."
#3 Amenities
The estate also has its own mini-golf course and 2 different guest homes as well as a garage apartment. The guest homes are like bed and breakfast's, and house his airline friends when they fly into town. "This is an overbuilt home," Travolta says. "The walls are thicker than they need to be, and there's more metal in it than there needs to be." The entrance hall includes a floor motif that Travolta designed himself.
#4 Cars And Planes
Travolta has driveways for his cars and hangars for his planes, all on the same property. And when we say cars, we mean 23 of them including this vintage Thunderbird.
#5 The Pools & Spa
The sprawling mansion and estate are perfectly landscaped with 2 pools just outside the front and rear patios. The main pool is 10 feet deep at one end and the second is a tiny wading pool, only 950 square feet. There are three different spas located in the home and two saunas.
#6 The Living Room
With floor to ceiling windows, you can see the grounds from most anywhere in the mansion. The main living room is 2,250 square feet and has a view of one of the hangars and the main pool. Construction of the house lasted two years, but "the plan took, on and off, about six years," Travolta says. "We moved into the guest quarters for a while to oversee it."
#7 The Hangars
The estate has airplane three airplane hangers. Yep. Plural. HANGARS. They were specially designed by Travolta several years ago and initially only one was enough, but after time went on he needed a few more just for the hell of it.
#8 Runways
His house has more runways than driveways. Let that sink in. I mean, it makes sense, as Travolta is an aviation fanatic and owns five planes, but wow. The runways lead directly to his front door and are large enough to bring in a 707. The 707 aircraft bears the marks of Qantas, as Travolta acts as an official goodwill ambassador for the airline wherever he flies.
#9 Part Of Greystone Airport
Travolta's property, located in the Jumbolair Aviation Estates in Ocala, Florida, is situated on Greystone Airport. It's private but also within driving distance of a few other properties and the main airport. The actor was reportedly the first resident of the 550-acre community that caters to people who want fly-in, fly-out access.
