Amber Heard and Johnny Depp's trial is moving towards its end phase and new shocking revelations are made each day. Recently, a witness for Amber Heard took to the stand where she claimed that Johnny Depp admitted to cutting the tip of his finger off himself.

Raquel ‘Rocky’ Pennington took the stand as a witness for Heard’s side yesterday, 18 May, where she admitted that she and the Aquaman star had ‘grown apart’ but were ‘not enemies’.

As part of her testimony, she discussed the aftermath of the March 2015 incident in Australia, in which Depp lost the tip of his finger.

Depp gave the statement during his testimony and claimed that the injury was the result of Heard throwing bottles of vodka at him in an argument.

When taken to the emergency room, Depp said he lied to the doctor by saying he’d smashed his finger in some ‘large accordion doors’ as he ‘didn’t want to get Heard in trouble’.

Meanwhile, Heard denied the claims alleging that the Pirates of the Caribbean star cut his own finger off in a fit of rage.

Pennington appeared to back up her former friend in her recorded deposition.

When asked if she recalled Depp saying he’d cut his finger off himself she said ‘yes’, adding: “I don't remember how he said he cut the tip of his finger off.”

The mixed martial artist explained that she continued to see Depp’s finger throughout the healing process but that she ‘doesn’t remember’ how he told her he cut it himself.

She was also questioned about an incident in December 2015 when Heard alleges she was violently attacked by the 58-year-old actor.

Pennington told the court that she witnessed the aftermath of the assault and denied claims that Heard's injuries were fake.

Depp's lawyer Camille Vasquez has been cross-questioning Heard and grilling her over all the details of the incident in which she claimed to be the victim of domestic violence.

Vasquez also played a number of audio recordings in which Heard described Depp as a ‘sellout’ and a 'joke', and another in which she taunted Depp for being ‘a baby’ about her hitting him.

The lawyer also suggested to Heard that it was Depp who got her the role of Mera in Aquaman, to which she replied: "No, I got myself that role by auditioning."

Depp sued his ex-wife Heard over her 2018 op-ed in which she claimed to be a victim of domestic violence and indirectly targeted Depp.

Taking to the court stand, Depp told the jury that his personal life and career were destroyed after these fake allegations were made public.

Depp's attorneys have accused Heard of orchestrating an elaborate 'hoax' with the 'clear implication' he was an abuser, causing damage to his professional and personal reputation.

Meanwhile, Heard has countersued for $100 million, claiming that her career has also suffered as a result of going public with the details of her marriage to Depp.
