Recently a tweet went viral on social media that revealed a series of abusive messages that were aimed at Johnny Depp's daughter Lily-Rose Depp, in relation to the ongoing defamation trial involving Amber Heard.

The abuse was actually targeted against Amber Heard, who has actually become the number one trending name in the past few weeks after evidence of her alleged domestic abuse on her ex-husband Johnny Depp has been made public.

However, in the midst of all this toxic drama, one more victim has been Depp's 22-year daughter Lily-Rose.

It has now been revealed that some of Depp's most ardent fans have been sending hate comments her way for not publicly supporting her father enough in his case against Heard.

Twitter user Ahmad posted four screenshots of comments on one of Lily-Rose's recent Instagram posts with the caption: “this is just insane.”

One comment read: “Please support your father. Regardless of YOUR relationship with him you know that Amber is NOT THE VICTIM. Support him please, speak up!!!!”

Others called the model out for not uploading any pictures of her dad at this time. “Not a single pic of your dad! What kind of human being are u!?” one person bemoaned.

“After years you will be gone and forgotten and people will only remember you as the daughter of a legendary man," another user added.

Twitter user, Ahmad then proceeded to share the theory of one Depp fan, who suggested that the hate comments were in fact coming from Heard's fans trying to smear the Pirates of the Caribbean star's supporter base.

It is suggested that the theory was invneted by a number of Twitter users.

Lily-Rose's parents separated in 2012, shortly before Depp and Heard first started dating. The pair would then marry in 2015, before divorcing in incredibly acrimonious circumstances two years later.

Depp is suing Heard, his ex-wife for $50 million in a defamation trial after the actress wrote an op-ed in 2018 in which she indirectly accused Depp of domestic and sexual violence.

One of the standout moments from day 16 of the trial was Heard's apparent shock over Depp claiming to be a victim of domestic violence.

On the witness stand, Heard said: "I found it hard to believe that he could or that he would do that, considering the relationship he and I had. I thought it would be crazy for him to do so."

An audio clip of an argument between Heard and Depp was played to the jury a few weeks into the trial where Heard is clearly heard telling Depp that the world will never believe that he is a victim of domestic abuse.
