Depp is seeking $50 million in damages after Heard claimed she was abused by the actor, while Heard is demanding $100 million in damages in a countersuit filed after Depp claimed the allegations were false. The jury is scheduled to continue deliberations today, May 31, and could potentially decide on the case today, but Depp has been absent from the Virginia courtroom for the past two days.

On Sunday, the actor performed a surprise appearance on stage at Jeff Beck's concert in Sheffield, where he played guitar and sang alongside Beck. He made a second appearance at the Royal Albert Hall in London yesterday, where he and Beck performed their 2020 track 'Isolation,' a rendition of John Lennon's 1970 classic.

Fans cheered and chanted Depp's name as Beck proceeded to introduce him, with Beck explaining that the actor's appearance was kept private 'for obvious reasons.'
Beck fan Angela Flannery revealed she was 'quite astonished' to see the Pirates of the Caribbean star walk out on stage in London on Monday.

Speaking to Sky News, she said: "I have) always been a massive fan of his. My other half took me to this gig just to see Jeff Beck, I had no idea Johnny would be playing. It was brilliant, such a fantastic night in general… a special mention to the drummer girl, she was amazing (and) Johnny Depp smashed it.”
"I'll die happy (that) I've been in the same room as him now," Flannery added.

Today, the jury will continue deliberating on Depp's defamation claim and Heard's countersuit, evaluating whether each party will be awarded damages. The jury may decide not to find in either party's favor or to award damages in a different amount than what they are asking.

Because the jury has been prohibited from reading updates on Depp and Heard in the media, their decision will be based solely on what has been presented in court.
Depp and Heard met on the set of "The Rum Diary" in 2011 and married in February 2015. Two years later, their divorce was finalized.

Jurors listened to recordings of the couple's clashes and saw gruesome images of Depp's bloody finger during the six-week trial. When Heard hurled a vodka bottle at him in 2015, he claims the top of his finger was severed.
Heard denied hurting Depp's finger and claimed that Depp sexually abused her with a liquor bottle later that night. She claimed she merely struck him to protect herself or her sister.
