Johnny Depp's Security Guard Testifies How Amber Heard 'Spat And Punched At Him'

Travis McGivern is the security guard who works for Johnny Depp. The man recently testified in the ongoing defamation trial and shared with the court that Depp's ex-wife Amber Heard spat at and punched him.

Travis appeared in the court via the video link on May 2 and is the first witness of this week to testify in the defamation trial.

Speaking to the court, Travis recalled meeting Heard in the summer of 2013, two years before the duo got married, and described their relationship as' super loving' and 'happy', but one which would also see them argue.

Travis shared that the arguments became more regular after the former couple returned from Australia in March 2015.

According to the security guard, Heard called Depp names and shouted at home, which caused Depp to want to leave. 

Aquaman star Heard was accused by Travis of calling Depp names such as a “f*****g deadbeat dad” and a “f*****g c***”, as well as of insulting the bodyguard when he tried to get Depp out of the apartment.

Travis talked about one specific event on March 23, 2015 where asked  the bodyguard to come to penthouse five of the Eastern Columbia Building with his nurse, Debbie Lloyd.

Travis says he found Depp at the door of the penthouse and claimed Heard threw a Red Bull can at Depp from the mezzanine level, which hit him on the back.

According to Travis, Heard then proceeded to throw a purse or a bag toward Depp and spat at him. This action really angered Depp.

Travis says Heard then left the apartment with her sister Whitney, after which Depp began throwing around the clothes in his wife's closet.

Travis decided to take Depp out of the apartment as the sisters returned to the apartment. However, another fight broke out and the bodyguard shared that he saw a fist coming over his right shoulder. Heard is said to have punched Depp with the closed fist in the side of his face.

When asked how Depp responded, Travis said: "a look of shock… what just happened? Where did that come from?"

Travis told the court that he immediately took Depp out of the penthouse, after which Depp showed him where he had been struck and developed a 'nice little shiner'. He claimed Depp did not physically respond to Heard hitting him, and did not throw anything at anyone.

Heard's lawyer then proceeded to ask Travis if Depp was trying to grab Heard’s hair to hit her with the cast on his hand during the fight, to which he replied: "that is not correct”.

Travis also cleared he did not see Depp push or shove Whitney during the altercation.
