Julia Fox Says She Is Not Getting Acting Jobs After Dating Kanye West

The never-ending saga of Julia Fox's former relationship with Kanye West has made it to the news again. This time for a completely different reason. Apparently, Fox has revealed that her relationship with Kanye West has taken away her acting opportunities.

During an interview on Emily Ratajkowski’s podcast, High Low with EmRata, the Uncut Gems actress said her short relationship with Ye has seemingly thwarted jobs in more films.

Fox says she has an understanding that why some film execs may be hesitant and see her as a ‘tabloid type person’ due to the relationship, however, the 32-year-old said she just has to 'trust the process’.

“After the big relationship, I definitely noticed a shift in the acting way, not in a good way,” Fox admitted.

“I’m not getting as many offers as I was before, weirdly. There’s been a lot of weird drawbacks with reaching that level of notoriety.”

She added: “It’s fine, I’m so busy.

“I think things come to you at the right time, so that’s why I’m really not stressing. I really don’t care.”

Fox has been very open about her relationship with Ye. The ex-couple first met at a New Year’s Eve party in Miami last year amid the musician’s divorce from reality TV star Kim Kardashian, who had started dating comedian Pete Davidson.

Fox and Ye, 45, went on a second date in New York City in January which included dinner at the Italian American restaurant Carbone and a show, Broadway’s Slave Play.

At this restaurant, Ye directed a photoshoot for Fox and other customers served as an audience for her. 

The dup then made their red carpet debut at the Paris Men’s Fashion Week in matching denim looks, paired with black gloves.

They parted ways in February and in September Fox stated about the ‘red flag’ that made her ‘tap out’ of the relationship.

"I was just going day by day and seeing where it went. It was just like, he still wants to hang out with me today, let’s do it. And then real life set in and the lifestyle wasn’t sustainable. I couldn’t fly away once a week. And I tapped out at the first sign of a red flag," she told ES Magazine.

When asked to elaborate on the ‘red flag,’ Fox said: “The unresolved issues that he was dealing with. It just seems like he had a lot to work on, and I just don’t have time for it, or energy. I don’t have the bandwidth or emotional capacity for it. I’m proud of myself for that. Pre-Valentino Julia would have definitely stuck it out and been there for longer."

Fox is mom to Valentino, 21 months, who she shares with her ex-husband Peter Artemiev.

Ye shares four children with ex-wife Kim Kardashian; North, nine, Saint, six, Chicago, four, and Psalm, three.
