Is Justin Bieber walking in the same footsteps as Chris Brown? If you read his latest Instagram post you might think so. Why? Because just like Brown did back in 2014, when out the blue he announced he had a child, last night on Instagram Bieber posted a photo of himself holding an infant girl in his arms. With an adoring look on his face, the 22-year-old singer captioned the pick with "My daughter"!

Of course, as expected, Bieber's rabid fan base freaked out in peak fashion, with many expressing their hurt for the fact that Bieber would hide should a HUGE SECRET from us. Many wondered who the mother is, could it be Kourtney? Selena? Hailey? A random Belieber? That is until they read the rest of the message and the truth was revealed

It turns out the initial shock of Bieber's "secret daughter" wore off after it was revealed he was just playing a joke on us. Hidden from the initial text the entire caption went on to say "Just Kidding". Many fans went on to express their relief at the joke, while some scolded Bieber for almost giving them a heart attack.

The joke was fairly easy to fall for, as rumours of the "Love Yourself" singer impregnating woman have followed him for years now. In 2010, a 27-year-old woman from Europe claimed that she was carrying his love child.

Then again in 2011, another San Diego woman named Mariah Yeater, also said Bieber was the father of her son, and even filed court papers asking for child support. Both claims turned out to be false.
