He was actually promoting his upcoming movie "Justin Timberlake + the Tennessee Kids" on Netflix, which will release on Wednesday, October 12th. This show is a collaboration between Timberlake and Academy Award-winning chief Jonathan Demme and captures the days of Timberlake's last world tour concert. He discussed his personal and professional life on the Today show.

He told the host how grateful he is for everything personally and professionally. He expressed, "Yeah, man, every day. I mean yeah, every day. Now, more so than ever while it's actually happening."

On his son Silas, he said, "It changes everything. You literally just wake up, look in the mirror and go, ‘I have no idea what I'm doing.' It changes everything. I would've never written a song like ‘Can't Stop the Feeling'."
