Kate Moss appears on the stand in the explosive Johnny Depp vs Amber Heard case denying Heard’s allegations that she was pushed down the stairs. ‘I slid down the stairs’ she said, saying there was no abuse involved.
Kate Moss Denies Amber Heard’s Claims: ‘I Slid Down The Stairs’
The Johnny Depp vs Amber Heard case has started unravelling as more questions are answered as more and more witnesses come forward.
Last week, during her deposition, Amber Heard claimed that she had heard a rumor that Depp had pushed his ex, Kate Moss, down the stairs. This claim, if true would set a precedent for spousal abuse on Depp’s part and strengthen Ms. Heard’s claims.
The moment, however, seemingly backfired as Depp’s attorney Ben Chew was seen turning around to his team and punching the air in joy.
This reaction solidified people’s suspicions that Kate Moss would in fact be making an appearance on the stand. Her testimony however would be in defense of Johnny.
This morning Moss appeared in court through video call before Judge Penney Azcarate.
“I just, in my head, instantly think of Kate Moss and stairs,” she said.
Moss was called in after Heard recounted an incident where Depp, Heard, and her sister Whitney were involved in an altercation at the top of the stairs. Heard claimed that Johnny attacked Whitney and later Ms. Heard after she had ‘landed one’ on Johnny in defense of her sister.
In a very short video call, Moss confirmed that she had been in a romantic relationship with Depp from 1994 to 1998 and further added that she had not been pushed down the stairs.
This alleged incident was said to have taken place during a vacation during a thunderstorm. Moss claimed that because of the thunderstorm she had slipped and fallen down the wet stairs.
She clarifies that she screamed as she slipped due to shock when Depp appeared to help her up and provide her with medical attention.
Moss’s testimony was short but clarifies that Depp had not pushed her down the stairs. She will most probably not be subject to recall.
