It has been confirmed that Kate Moss will soon be appearing at Johnny Depp's $100 million defamation trial against Amber Heard. The 48-year-old British actress dated Depp from 1994 till 1997 and will be present at the trial this Wednesday.

During her testimony on Thursday, Heard had said that she felt connected to Moss because of a rumor that the Pirates of the Caribbean actor had pushed her down the stairs while they were dating in the 1990s.

Little did Heard know that Depp's lawyers would call Kate Moss as a witness so that she could discuss the rumor and prove the misconduct allegation wrong.

It's amusing to see Depp's lawyers celebrating and fist-bumping after Heard included Moss in her testimony.

Kate is going to appear at the trial on Wednesday so that it be testified whether Johny Depp pushed the actress down the stairs or not. According to the sources, the actress has been supportive of her ex-boyfriend all this time and both had attended the screening of the film Fear and Loathing together in Las Vegas.

"That's one mistake that Heard made, was bringing up Kate Moss, which potentially opened the door to Depp's team bringing Kate Moss on as an impeachment witness' and 'saying 'This never happened,'" Mitra Ahouraian, a Californian entertainment lawyer said.

"Amber mentioned an ex of Johnny's that clearly she felt was not supportive of him, which couldn't be further from the truth," another source added.

"Moss is still allegedly friends with Johnny, but she was not originally allowed to testify about the incident because it wasn't relevant," another lawyer shared.

However, the mentioning of Kate Moss gave the chance to Depp's lawyers to call Moss as a witness.

A criminal defense attorney and former California judge, Halim Dhanidina has voiced that Heard's team could counter Moss' testimony by explaining that the rumor was just meant to detail Heard's state of mind when she punched Depp all those years ago.
