Keanu Reeves's Heartwarming Conversation With An 80-Year-Old Woman Leaves Fans In Tears

Keanu Reeves is famous for being a nice and humble person in Hollywood.

His stories of kindness have been circulating on social media for a long time. This time another story of the actor that has won fans hearts is the gesture he made to an 80-year-old super fan.

The story was posted originally on Reddit where a user shared how their 80-year-old grandmother had a crush on Reeves because he reminded her of her late husband.

"She had a stroke in her early 70s and was pretty much housebound for the last 10 years of her life, so watching movies was her main hobby, and became almost like friends to her because she so rarely got to see any of her own," they explained.

The user went on to say how around the same time that one of Reeves' most famous movies (The Matrix) came out, their uncle bumped into the actor in an LA restaurant.

"When he finished his meal my uncle came up to their table and said 'I don’t usually do this, but I just wanted you to know that my 80-year-old mother loves you and has seen all of your movies. You remind her of my dad,'" the user recalled.

Instead of brushing him off or disregarding his words, Reeves asked the uncle if he has his phone on him and then told him: "Give her a call, I want to talk to her."

"He spoke with my grandmother for several minutes and it absolutely made her year. She was so isolated and his genuine kindness to her and interest in her showed what a truly amazing man he is," the Redditor concluded.
