The Scottish actor and wife Jane Parker have finally divorced after being together for 17 years. The couple though separated in October 2015 but finalized their divorce on December 22. The couple will have joint custody of their children and have agreed on 'nesting arrangement.' The couple have also divided the assets among each other and McKidd, 44 would have to pay child support until the kids turn 18.

Kevin McKidd and wife Jane Parker have finalized their divorce after separating in October 2015 thus, ending their marriage of 17 years. The couple will be sharing joint custody of their two children together, son Joseph 17 and daughter Iona 15.
Back in July 2016, the Scottish actor announced that he and his wife have decided to split and end their marriage. However, the divorce comes at a high price as it is reported that the actor has to pay $22k in child support covering the expenses of the private school including the summer camp of his children and around $65k in spousal support each month.
The couple finalized their divorce on December 22. Also, it is reported that the couple has also split their assets as McKidd will be getting one of couple's house and the car while Parker will be getting the other house. Also, they will have joint custody of their house in Malibu.
According to reports, after their children turn 18 McKidd wouldn't have to pay child support but he would have to continue to pay $12k per month in spousal support for four years.
It is reported McKidd and Parker have agreed on 'nesting arrangement,' as they call it, in which the couple will share the joint custody of their children. As claimed by a renowned magazine, the children will live in their LA home where the parents will take turns living with them.
McKidd, 44, played the role former U.S. Army trauma surgeon Owen Hunt in famous medical series "Grey's Anatomy." Dr Owen Hunt marks his entrance in the fifth season of the show and played the love interest of Dr Yang played by Sandra Oh on set and according to fans, they shared an electrifying chemistry. The Scottish actor also appeared in NBC'S show "Journeyman" 2007, 1996 movie "Trainspotting" and BBC miniseries "Anna Karenina."
