This man from Florida was slapping the 2-year-old pit-Lab mix, Adi near Intracoastal Park in Boynton Beach when a lady passing by saw it and recorded it on her phone.

According to the police, the man had to surrender his pooch to the authorities after he was caught abusing the poor animal. The man has not been identified and also not charged by the police, reports news station WPBF.

In the disturbing video, the crazy man is seen holding the dog by the leash, then he suddenly leans over angrily and starts slapping and punching the dog.

The woman, Stacey Rybak, was walking with her dog when she spotted the unfortunate incident. Stacey told the police that the dog, Adi, was running loose when this man pulled up in a car. 

“The owner bent down and grabbed the harness and just started to beat the dog,” Rybak told the news station WPTV.

Stacey took out her phone and recorded the disturbing scene and then called 911.

Upon investigation, the man told that he beat the dog because the dog was ignoring his command to return home. The man further told the dog escaped from his house and was running towards a small pub, the man told that he was afraid she would attack the small dog.

“There’s no question I was wrong for what I did, but they didn’t understand the circumstances,” he told WPBF.

The dog, Adi, was immediately handed over to the authorities as the man didn't deserve the beautiful animal.

The cops interviewed the man and took Adi to the vet for an examination. 

Adi was handed over to the local animal control and would stay there until the investigation is completed.
