It seems inflation is apparently having an impact on Leonardo DiCaprio's supposed dating age limit - as he's recently been spotted cozying up to Gigi Hadid who, at 27, is two years older than anyone the actor's ever dated.
Leonardo DiCaprio has been pictured getting close to Gigi Hadid at a party in New York City on Monday. The 47-year-old actor was pictured with the 27-year-old model for the first time since news or their reported romance broke.
Photos snapped at the exclusive party, which was thrown at Casa Cipriani by Leo's friends Richie Akiva and Darren Dzienciol in Manhattan's Soho neighborhood, show the actor dressed in a black short-sleeve shirt and a black baseball cap while sporting his usual goatee.
DiCaprio and Gigi — who wore a white crop top revealing her toned midriff, along with baggy jeans — could be seen leaning in close together as they tried to chat in the midst of the loud party.

Following the leaking of the new pictures, a source close to to the couple said while they are dating, they are 'taking it slow,' according to Page Six.
The source went on to say that the couple have been out together just the two of them as well as hanging out in groups with the pair not calling themselves 'exclusive' yet.
A source close to the model also claimed to the publication that 'neither of them want a relationship' at the moment.
'Gigi and Leo have hung out multiple times and are into each other. Gigi thinks he's a really cool guy,' they said. 'Majority of their hangouts have stemmed from being in the same social circles at various parties.'
The now 47 year old DiCaprio has been repeatedly criticized for never dating a woman over the age of 25, and his strikingly long list of relationships coincidentally failing right at that point is suspicious to say the least. So after being picture together for the first time, the humorous tweets about Gigi and Leo came flooding in. And boy, they did not disappoint.

"Due to inflation, Leo's girlfriend's age rises by 20% [sic]," someone wrote.

While another user jokingly remarked: "Omg she could be your mother Leo what are you doing [sic]?"
"Didn't someone say there's a Mercury Retrograde? Because that's the only thing that has [Leonardo DiCaprio] dating anyone over 25 a reality," another person chimed in.

Leo seems to stick to a few trends when dating - generally his girlfriends are tall, blonde, and never over the age of 25. While it might appear that Leo has succumbed to media pressure and raised his age range, dating yet another blonde model is hardly a break from stereotype for Leo. In fact, Leo was the butt of many jokes when news of his split with Morrone was announced - especially as she had only just turned 25 months prior.
If all the media wanted was for Leo to date someone over the age of 25, then they got their wish. In the meantime, it would appear that while he’s pushing fifty, he still only dates supermodels 20 years his junior.
