The "Queen of Pop" Madonna is famous for her timeless pop songs, but her controversial interviews, opinions and social media stunts also add to her fame. One such recent stunt is her latest TikTok video in which she implied she's gay.

The five-second clip was scored to music by social media influencer Nudy Georges and came with a caption, “If I miss, I’m gay!” Madonna then bunched up a pair of pink panties in and tried tossing them into the trash — only to miss and knowingly smile into the camera.

The footage has since been viewed more than 1.2 million times and spurred more than 15,000 comments and nearly 50,000 shares on TikTok. Madonna, whose look included bleached eyebrows, pink lipstick and matching hair, let the video speak for itself with no further clarification.

The singer has yet to address the speculation on any of her social media platforms and it’s also worth mentioning that 'National Coming Out Day' falls on Oct. 11.

Her revelation hardly came as a shock, with one Twitter user referring to singer's famous kiss with Britney Spears while performing the song at the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards.

The TikTok video also received comments like,

"Madonna has been an out bisexual for literally decades my dudes."

Another TikTok user commented,

"y'all Madonna has been out as bi longer than some.of us have been alive"

Then came the ageist remarks. One Twitter user commented,

"The need for attention, spotlight or controversy is so obvious and pathetic. Isn’t she pushing 70??"

While others commented on her need for seeking attention and staying trendy.

"Madonna will come out as anything that will make her keep attention. If being a dog, a cat, a dolphin, (name it) are trendy, then Madonna and her alikes will become."

But there was also plenty of support for the Queer Icon.

Madonna, 64, has dropped hints about her sexuality dating back to the early 90s and has been an avid ally of the LGBTQ+ community for many years.

“I think everybody has a bisexual nature,” Madonna told The Advocate in 1991. “That’s my theory. I could be wrong.”

The singer supported the LGBTQ community during the 80s and 90s AIDS epidemic as many of her closest gay friends–including her first dance teacher Christopher Flynn, former roommate Martin Burgoyne, artist Keith Haring, and filmmaker Howard Brookner–had died of AIDS.

Still some people are not welcoming to her with one Twitter user commenting: "We don’t invite her to the lgbt community."

But fans were quick to come in her support and put that hater in his place. Madonna is a go-getter who will continue to unapologetically express herself, and there will be plenty of worldwide admirers who will continue to be captivated by her.
