So Karma is a massive pain sometimes. And no one knows this more than celebs.
Why is that? Because I'm writing an article about a celebrity. But karma can come back to bite through your kids.
And this story is about Ms. Material Girl herself, Madonna, and how she's having problems raising her young for the most ironic reason possible.

Alright, so Madonna was the original rebel teen in the 1980s and 90s she appeared nude in Playboy, sang about sex with no shame and fellated a water bottle...
Plus she was her era's mega pop star with one name, a la Beyoncé.
#3
She even published a soft-core porn book with stars of her time like Vanilla Ice...
Whoa... you go girl!

The point is she was a pop star who couldn't be contained and didn't really believe in boundaries. Then she got herself a family, and becoming a parent kinda changes you...

That carefree attitude is NOT how she parents and it's a HUGE problem...
But the kids she had with her ex-husband film director Guy Ritchie are at odds with her for an ironic reason...

Turns out that Madonna is a bit of an authoritarian when it comes to raising kids. Her kids think she's ULTRA controlling.
Page Six insiders say her two teenagers, Rocco and Lourdes, are fed up with Madonna's mixed messages.

Turns out her touring schedule is REALLY hectic and that means that whenever her children ARE in town, Madonna spends all that time micromanaging their lives.
Madonna's ex-hubby lives in the UK and she lives in New York City.

Their 15-year-old son, Rocco said he didn't want to live with his mom and was hiding out in his dad's place in the UK since Christmas. Things got real and she went to court to force him back.
A Manhattan Civil Supreme Court judge ruled that Rocco had to be back in NY before the January start of school at Lycée Français.

But he straight up said NO. Madonna's son told a friend on Instagram, "I'm staying here, bro." He had enough of Madonna's controlling ways during her Rebel Heart tour last year.
"Rocco spent most of the second half of 2015 on tour with his mother and got upset about not spending enough time with her," said the source. He's also mentioned that he finds it hard to make friends in NY since all of them always want to go to his famous mother's house.

But in April, Madonna went to England to try and fix the relationship...
Rocco Ritchie was spotted by paparazzi with some friends drinking coffee in Manhattan at the end of May before he headed to Madonna's house.
This was the first time time back in the States since late last year.

So Madonna must have promised to ease up on the controlling behavior. But what about her 19-year-old daughter, Lourdes? She seems to be free to have a partying lifestyle!
"The provocative persona she projects is incredibly controlled," says O'Brien, "and the way she disciplines her kids is an extension of that. Her mother was an austere Catholic. That heavy-duty Catholicism is about being disciplined almost to the point of self-punishment."

Madonna was supposedly "devastated" when her eldest child left for college because she wasn't able to have complete control. Up to that point, TV was banned, candies were non-existent, no dairy, salt or preservatives. Plus if her kids left clothes on the ground, they'd get them taken away.
"She (Lourdes) was the only one who really understood what he was going through David and Mercy are still so young, they can't connect with him on that level. Lourdes has been relishing her freedom and Rocco [is] envious in many ways."
