#1 Carrot Top

Nobody can say that comedian Carrot Top was a handsome man, to begin with, but after he started his obsession with going under the knife, he went from goofy redheaded funnyman to scary clown. Carrot Top has become an entirely new person. Of course, his looks are still as unique as his name and frizzy red hair, but the “before” Carrot Top is suddenly looking a lot easier on the eyes. Sadly for the prop comic, this joke is on him.

#2 Kenny Rogers

Everyone is talking about it. He looks like a totally different person, and not in a good way either. The once rugged and soulful hitmaker opted to try and keep his handsome masculine face younger and went a little overboard. This is one of those times when you need someone to take your hand and just say "NO" and slap you. “The Gambler” surely lost the bet when he chose his plastic surgeon.

#3 Barry Manilow

I never understood the appeal myself, but for decades, women, and men have been in love with the charming Manilow. With hits like “Mandy,” “Could It Be Magic,” and “I Write the Songs,” Manilow is a one-of-a-kind singer and songwriter who didn’t have to rely on obvious sex appeal to win the hearts of millions of unconditionally adoring fans which makes his surgeries a little more confusing. These days, the “Can’t Smile Without You” singer literally can’t smile due to extensive plastic surgery that’s made his face look obviously different from his looks of his youth. If he was trying to look like a more feminine version of himself, he succeeded, and it's kinda creepy.

#4 Bruce Jenner

Before “Bruce” became “Caitlin,” she was a fella who wanted to make a change in his looks while still keeping his outward appearance “male.” The problem was that he opted for several procedures in a short span of time, and it was very obvious. Nobody gets those pulled back cheeks and raised forehead overnight. All the quick surgeries, presumably to look good for the Kardashian fans, let Jenner looking a little worse for the wear. Botched facelifts, eye tightening procedures, nose jobs, and who knows what else made him a little scary to look at. As Caitlyn, he has done even more harm than good, but that's another story.

#5 Burt Reynolds

Back in the 60s, 70s and early 80s, Burt was THE heartthrob in Hollywood. His muscles, tan skin, toned body, signature mustache, and rugged bad boy looks made everyone either want to be him or want to have him. But we get old. Burt Reynolds didn’t allow for Mother Nature to determine his destiny in the looks department; he called on his high-priced plastic surgeon instead. He actually went under the knife a bit early, since when he began getting surgeries he was still considered a hottie. He wound up looking worse than he did when he made Starting Over, and of course, as he's aged, things are pretty scary right now when you consider that you once fantasized about waking up beside this warped character.

#6 Sylvester Stallone

Sly Stallone is best known for his roles in action films, and his buff body and handsome looks made him born for the big screen. From Rocky to Rambo, Stallone always embraced his unique, yet attractive face and distinct features. But as we’ve seen in recent years, Stallone seems to have gone under the knife in an attempt to turn back the hands of time. The seasoned actor is 70 years old, believe it or not, but he should have allowed his face to age with a natural progression, not go for an alteration by “Dr. Hollywood.” It looks like a hefty helping of fillers and Botox got all up in Stallone’s face, just like a jab from a vicious Rocky opponent. While Stallone still looks a lot better than most fellas his age, the puffy shape, and generic plastic surgery outcome has taken the Cobra actor from “sly” to “oh my!”

#7 Jermaine Jackson

Everyone is quite aware of how much plastic surgery Jermaines brother had over the years, rendering the pop star unrecognizable at the time of his death. Jermaine hasn't crossed that line, yet! He is still recognizable but all that work didn't do him any justice. These days, his skin appears to look altered in some way, with a shiny complexion, causing critics to spread rumors that he’s had work done. He had a nose job as well, but some may argue that the original one was more becoming.

#8 Wayne Newton

The Vegas crooner went into the surgeon's office Wayne Newton and came out looking like a wax figure of a Hawaiian hula dancer. Perhaps that was his desire and his surgeon is a genius, but usually celebs want a result that’s less plastic and more plausible. While Vegas (where he’s been known to sell out the house) is all about the extremes, even the most made-up showgirl doesn’t look as unrealistic as Newton. We all know these guys are getting older, and it's not a crime to continue working if you can looking like you've been aging like a normal man. When you begin to look more humanoid than human, it's time to give it up. Danke Schone!

#9 Mickey Rourke

Well-known for his role in 9 ½ Weeks, Mickey Rourke was once considered one of the hottest actors ever to grace the big screen. But over time, aging and Rourke did not seem to get along, so he opted for what appears to be a great deal of plastic surgery, making his looks far worse than natural aging would have. It has been said that Rourke has had rhinoplasty, cheekbone reconstruction, and a facelift of some sort. He’s barely recognizable, and unfortunately, not in a good way. If you squint your eyes you can still recall a little of the handsome Rourke from days gone past.

#10 Christian Slater

Admittedly, I thought Christian Slater was all that and a bag of chips back in the day. He was hot, and manly, somehow looking and appearing older than he actually was. Now that he is the age he appeared many moons ago, he's trying to cover it up with surgery. It looks like botox got the best of his forehead which seems immobile, and rumors say he’s had a forehead lift. Pump Up the Volume was a cool Slater film, but “Pump Up the botox” isn’t quite as catchy. If he doesn't stop soon the only ay he'll appeal to anyone is in a dimly lit bar room at closing time.

#11 David Hasselhoff

Hasselhoff was hot in his prime on Knight Rider and Baywatch, but as he’s aged, he’s fallen victim to the Hollywood plastic surgery epidemic and decided to have someone “play doctor” with his formerly more attractive face. He admits to some botox but says that all he's had done. Hard to believe, since his face looks like the skin is pulled tighter than Dolly Parton's bra. Aging may scare Hasselhoff, but his current look may scare away new fans.

When will these men understand that they don't need to alter their looks like women do? The culture in Hollywood is not ageist for males, and the audience prefers to see their idols age gracefully. They are not fooling anyone, except maybe their mirrors.
