Markus Meechan, 28, had North Lanarkshire police show up to his house and arrest him for a night on charges of attempted hate crime after he posted a video of him turning his girlfriend's dog into the world's cutest little Neo-Nazi. The video shows the pug watching videos of Hitler's speeches and even giving a salute after hearing the words ‘Sieg Heil'.
Detective Inspector David Cockburn (That's unfortunate) said: "This clip was shared online and has been viewed almost one million times. The clip is deeply offensive and no reasonable person can possibly find the content acceptable in today's society. This arrest should serve as a warning to anyone posting such material online, or in any other capacity, that such views will not be tolerated."

After being released Meechan defended himself: "I am not a racist at all, anybody who knows me could tell you that. Honestly, I don't hate anyone, the whole purpose of this was just to annoy my girlfriend. It was strictly made to annoy my girlfriend and give my friends something to laugh at. I am so sorry to the Jewish community for any offence I have caused them. This was never my intention and I apologize."
Meechan made a public apology to the Jewish community. He won't be making any jokes for a while now.
