#1 Gruesome: The doctor examines the huge lump on the man's neck
This is the gruesome moment a doctor drains a mound of 'smelly, cheesy, pus from a huge golf-ball sized abscess on the back of a man's neck.
The stomach-churning video, which has been shared on YouTube today , shows Dr Sandra Lee, also known as Dr Pimple Popper, making an incision in the man's neck as he lies on an operating table.
She then proceeds to squeeze yellow pus from the lump before dabbing up the liquid with cotton wool pads.
Dr Lee, explains that the lump is an epidermoid cyst .
#2 Grim: Dr Lee makes an incision in the man's neck
She said: "When an epidermoid cyst ruptures, it creates a vigorous foreign body inflammatory response - this skin becomes warm, tender, painful, and swells, simulating an abscess.
"Incision and Drainage (I & D), will confirm the diagnosis of inflamed cyst, when the smelly, cheesy material is evacuated, and this often leads to rapid resolution of symptoms.
"These episodes are often misdiagnosed as "infection" of the cyst, but cultures are usually negative and antibiotic treatments is not required.
#3 Draining: She then squeezes out the 'cheesy' pus
"Intralesional steroids can hasten the resolution of symptoms as well."
Dr Lee is a dermatologist at the Skin Physicians & Surgeons practice in Upland, California, and often posts footage of gory spot-draining procedures for her fans to watch.
And she admits she finds the pimple popping procedures very fascinating.
Speaking to Racked.com, Sandra said: "I pop these things, and yeah they kind of make me feel good, they're satisfying, but it's not like I seek them out."
