A Harry Potter enthusiast faced a tough reality when he ran into the wall at Platform 9¾, hoping to enter Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry for the academic year, only to discover that the wall didn't open for him.

For those who may not be informed – and seriously, what brings you here if you're not? – the platform at London's Kings Cross Station is where anyone embarking on a new school year at Hogwarts catches the Hogwarts Express train.

Of course, it's not real, but that doesn't stop thousands of people from visiting the station to witness the replica of the platform entrance set up there. In fact, it has become quite a popular tourist attraction.

Nevertheless, one mischievous individual decided to push the boundaries and created quite a spectacle at the attraction site back in 2018 by crashing right into the brick wall.

Arriving at the scene faster than you can say 'accio idiot,' the man collided head-on with the brick wall and ended up on the ground.

“F***, it’s closed,” he then shouted before running off as quickly as he arrived.

It's safe to assume that it must have been quite painful, without a doubt.

When it comes to the identity of this prankster, there's not much we know, but it's a pretty safe bet that he did it for the sake of attention. After all, isn't that often the motivation behind many actions?

The entire stunt is evidently a nod to the second book in the Harry Potter series, titled 'The Chamber of Secrets.'

In this part of JK Rowling's magical tale, Harry and his bumbling friend Ron Weasley make an unsuccessful attempt to pass through the enchanted door onto the platform. Instead, they crash into it with their luggage trolleys, ending up sprawled on the ground.

As it turned out, on that particular occasion, it wasn't due to the door's nonexistence or the absence of real magic. Rather, it was because the House Elf Dobby had sealed the door in an effort to prevent Harry from going to Hogwarts.

Under the video, the prankster managed to get some kudos, at least.
