Man Left In Disbelief After Turning $5 Into $1,569,632.91 In One Night At Las Vegas Casino

A person visiting a casino in California became over $1 million richer after spending just $5 on a game. 

It's incredible to think about how such a small amount of money could lead to such a life-changing win. 

When I think about all the $5 or $10 I’ve spent on lottery tickets or scratch cards and compare it to how much I’ve actually won, it almost makes me want to cry.

A man from Hawaii went to the California Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas on Wednesday (12 June) with his son to celebrate his son’s 21st birthday, Boyd Gaming told Fox 5 Vegas. 

The birthday celebration turned out to be unforgettable.

The visitor reportedly spent $5 on IGT’s Wheel of Fortune slots game at around 4:00 am. 

Spending $5 turned out to be worth it for this lucky man. 

He hit a bonus wheel with three 7’s across the payline, winning a huge jackpot and walking away with a cheque for $1,569,632.91.

The visitor was reportedly in ‘disbelief’ over the win. It didn’t take long for news of his luck to spread. 

News of the jackpot win was shared on the Reddit thread r/Oahu by user 808SOS, and people quickly commented to congratulate the winner.

User zoot_boy wrote: “Yay! They can put a down payment on a house now” 

Deranged_Coconut808 added: “That’s enough to own a studio in Kalihi.” 

Another user, blueblazer2723, said: “I’m surprised the machine didn’t ‘glitch’ and the person betting only gets $5 and a free drink.”
