Just when we thought that the blokes they pick for this show couldn’t possibly come up with anything we hadn’t seen before, former professional rugby player, Matthew, proved there will be no end to the weird ideas people have.

His girlfriend is, predictably, hoping for a girly glamorous wedding. He seems to be completely oblivious to this (or just doesn't care) and decides to plough on with a themed wedding.
My theory is that these guys think back to all of the weddings they've been to over the years, and think ‘no one had the brilliant idea to have a themed wedding, I'm such a genius.'
But what they fail to realise is that there's a reason that most people opt for a normal, un-themed wedding, boys. Because themed weddings are a bit crap especially if one member of the soon-to-be-married couple really doesn't want one.

25-year-old Matthew and his 23-year-old fiance Zoe have known each since they had a childhood summer romance, but despite knowing her for twelve years planning a wedding she wont hate seems to be a real struggle for poor Matthew.
With a budget of £14,000 he decides to go for a Roman theme, in a dilapidated amphitheater in a muddy field somewhere in Britain, hardly the elegant princess-worthy wedding Zoe has been dreaming of.
Speaking about his plans, he explained: "Because I love history I want to give Zoe a Roman-themed wedding where all the men are dressed as Roman legionnaires and Zoe's gonna be brought in on a horse-drawn, Roman-style chariot."

But there's a twist, he plans for the ceremony to turn into a full fledged battle half way through. That's as much as we're going to tell you, because we don't want to spoil what happens.

He picks a ‘perfect' spaghetti strap gown for his bride who has been dreaming of a long sleeved dress for years. This was his reaction to picking her dress:
#5 This was how she felt about it:
Yikes, it seems like they're not seeing eye to eye here.
To see the whole thing in all of it's glory, including them forcing the father of the bride into a gladiator costume, it will be on Sky 1.
