A man has revealed his receipt for ordering a Cybertruck, sparking surprise among people due to the substantial amount he paid. 

Tesla's latest vehicle remains in the spotlight weeks after its official unveiling. 

Elon Musk has promoted the Cybertruck as a safe option, boldly stating that in an argument with another vehicle, "you will win."

However, car safety experts are worried about the possible threat that the Cybertruck would present to onlookers rather than passengers.

Specifically, they raised worries regarding the material utilized in the car's body, which Tesla refers to as "ultra-hard stainless steel."

A "crumple zone" is a safety feature seen on many contemporary autos.

This indicates that in the event of a collision, some parts of the vehicle are intended to collapse.

Although it may seem contradictory, this actually means that the crumple zone absorbs the collision force rather than the occupants.

Nevertheless, the Cybertruck doesn't seem to have this feature, and considering how big and quick it is, it's probably not going to stop if it hits another automobile.

After spending a total of $122,135 on his Cybertruck, Reddit member UTECHPIA may have to wait years to be able to drive it.

Cybertruck orders might arrive as early as 2024, according to some publications, although less optimistic estimates put the arrival date as high as five years out.

Still, the Reddit user expressed excitement over the arrival of his Cybertruck, writing: "WILL IT ARRIVE in 2023? What do you guys think?”

"I'm so excited, I got the email invite to put in my order on Fri, Dec 8, 7:30 PM PT, and placed my order within 5 minutes!"

The individual appears to be an enormous fan of Tesla because he already has a 2023 Tesla MYP, Musk's incredibly fast SUV.

Many Reddit users expressed their disbelief at the car's pricing in the post's comments section.

"I didn’t think anyone was going to buy it with the massive price hikes and feature reductions. I guess I was wrong," one person wrote.

A second added: "Want one, but that price tag."

While a third joked: "I really want to do this, but then I would be cyberhomeless."
