This is the adorable moment a chubby rat was discovered with its head stuck in a wall socket - because it was too fat to make it through.
The curious animal was found when its squeaking alerted the man filming the video.
He unscrewed the TV socket and joked: "It's your own fault, isnt't it?" as the kangaroo rat lay helplessly.
The man finally frees the socket from the wall and pulls the animal free.
Its chubby frame can be seen with its legs flailing about. The man can't help but laugh at the kangaroo's attempt, as someone can be heard in the background saying: "Oh my god."

He then puts the rodent into a bucket with the wall socket cover still attached to his head.

Presumably to take him to the vets and finally set him free.
It isn't known what happened to the animal, but the videomaker did say: "All that was harmed was its pride".
