The expert suggests that Meghan's motivation is driven by a desire for approval and popularity.

Kinsey Schofield from Di For Daily shared her views during an appearance on TalkTV.

She believes Meghan's determination stems from the harsh criticism she often faces.

Schofield said, "I think people really dislike Meghan Markle and it must absolutely destroy her or you wouldn't see her fighting so hard to be relevant."

She continued to express her skepticism about Meghan's public relations efforts:

"I believe that this is a real PR push for Meghan Markle, even in the descriptions of these shows - cooking, gardening, entertainment, and friendship - give me a barf bag."

Schofield also pointed out an interesting detail about the media coverage of Meghan’s projects.

She noted that Prince Harry seems to be conspicuously absent from the promotional materials.

"When you share the article on Deadline, the headline is 'Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, is launching two Netflix shows,' there's no mention of Harry."

"And if you look at Deadline's Facebook page, there's no mention of Harry in the description," Schofield remarked.

The podcast 'Royally Obsessed' reports that Meghan has been developing her lifestyle brand for several years.

She even soft-launched her website recently but chose to delay its full launch, considering it insensitive timing due to King Charles and Princess Kate both undergoing cancer treatment.

Schofield suggests that a recent social media post by Prince William, praising footballer Rachel Daly, might have been seen by the Sussexes as a signal that it was an appropriate time to go ahead with their own announcements.

Consequently, they revealed plans to produce two Netflix series, one focusing on cooking and gardening and the other on polo.

Meghan is set to serve as an executive producer for both. However, it has not been confirmed if she will also host the cooking show.

Just last week, Harry was seen playing polo in a charity match, which sparked speculations that they might be filming for their Netflix series, the Express reported.

The choice of polo, often called the "sport of kings," as a series topic has drawn criticism.

Critics argue that the Sussexes are exploiting their royal connections, which has stirred further controversy around their projects.
