In front of a congress full of shocked authorities, a UFO investigator showed two apparently "non-human" bodies.

In what he dubbed a "watershed" event in front of the Mexican Congress on Tuesday, Jaime Maussan, who has been leading investigations into alien occurrences for decades, stood with experts to display two corpses.

According to Mexican media, the experts made the remarkable claim that the corpses, placed in windowed boxes and allegedly found from Cusco in Peru, were not a part of "our terrestrial evolution," with 30% of their genetic makeup remaining "unknown."

The remains, which were depicted as having three-fingered hands, no teeth, and stereoscopic vision, were proven to be more than 1,000 years old, according to carbon dating results from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).

Conspiracy theorists online have been excited by the strange presentation, but there has also been skepticism. The specimens were covered in what seemed to be sand, which is unusual for fossils that have undergone study.

But Tuesday, under oath, Maussan, who has already been linked to refuted alien hypotheses, insisted: 'These specimens are not part of our terrestrial evolution [...] These aren't beings that were found after a UFO wreckage. They were found in diatom [algae] mines, and were later fossilized.'

He later added: 'Whether they are aliens or not, we don't know, but they were intelligent and they lived with us. They should rewrite history.'

'We are not alone in this vast universe, we should embrace this reality,' he said at the event.

The corpses displayed during the meeting had a fairly humanoid appearance.

However, El Pas noted that a retractable neck and a large skull display "characteristics" more "typical of birds."

The presenters noted that it was also discovered that they lacked teeth and had strong, light bones.

Deputies were informed by experts in Congress who displayed purported X-rays of the specimens that one of the creatures was carrying 'eggs' with embryos inside of them.

They claimed to have cadmium and osmium metal implants.

Osmium is regarded as the rarest valuable metal and one of the most rare metals in the Earth's crust.

Maussan called the occasion a "watershed" moment since it marked the beginning of an official discourse in Mexico to acknowledge the epidemic.

He claimed that specialists at the Autonomous National University of Mexico (UNAM) recently conducted radiocarbon dating on the bodies.

Several US and Mexican officials appeared to present on Unidentified Aerial Phenomena at the gathering on Tuesday.

Additionally present was Ryan Graves, a former Navy pilot and retired director of the US Navy.

On 'UAP' sightings and government classification, Graves testified earlier this year.

In July, he made assertions on the danger UAPs bring to American national security.

When stationed off the coast of Virginia in 2014, Graves testified that his squadron routinely discovered strange objects and that UFOs were an 'open secret' in the military.

Following whistleblower David Grusch's shocking revelation that people had been killed as part of a scheme to keep UFOs hidden, the Department of Defence announced in August that a new website will publish official declassified material on UFOs.

The web page is still under construction, but once finished, it will allow users to simply browse through images and videos.

Federal officials issued a statement regarding the website in which they claimed that the publication demonstrates the Defense Department's "commitment" to "transparency with the American people" regarding their work on UAPs, the government's word for UFOs.

At the meeting on Tuesday in Mexico, Robert Salas, a retired USAF lieutenant, discussed the stigma associated with UAP sightings.

He said: 'As we speak, our sky is full of [UAPs], whose existence is not reported enough.’

‘Sightings are not rare or isolated, they are routine. It is a stigma of the [UAP] and poses a powerful challenge to national security,' he said, as reported by Infobae.

The audience at the hearing saw footage of UAPs, including footage of lights floating above the clouds that were recorded by a fighter jet.

Others related tales of witnessing strange occurrences while working throughout Mexico.

Everyone in attendance was asked to stand and swear that the statements presented were truthful.

Jaime Maussan unveiled a second mummified body in 2015 that he said belonged to an alien.

The body was discovered close to the Nazca Lines, a group of geoglyphs in Peru that range in size from 50 to 1200 feet.

There have been rumors that the sentences themselves are alien because they lack a clear genesis tale.

The allegation, however, was eventually refuted, according to a Snopes investigation.

Instead, a human child's body was said to have been present.

It was later determined that five bodies discovered in Peru in 2017 were actually human children.
