#1 Wonderful news for a Monday afternoon as we are on track to become the first generation that will earn less than our parents. Brilliant.

The new study by Resolution Foundation defines 'millennials' as anyone born after 1981 and it's not good news, lads. It shows that we're earning around £8,000 less a year in our 20s than someone from the previous generation, the Independent reports.

Between the 2008 recession, student loans, house prices/paying more in rent and a lack of jobs with decent wages we're all fucked, basically. If all that good news isn't enough for you then it also warns that leaving the EU could lower young people's wages even further.
The brand spanking new PM Theresa May warned of a "growing divide between a more prosperous older generation and a struggling younger generation." And she's not wrong, because as well as earning less in the first place, the millennials will spend £40,000 more on rent by the age of 30 than the older generation did. Celebrate good times, come on!

I would say it's not all doom and gloom but there's really nothing in the report to cheer up anyone under 35, so sorry about that. At least the sun is shining... for now.
