Miriam Margolyes has spoken about a gross incident that occurred with her former co-star Arnold Schwarzenegger. She revealed that Arnold farted in her face while the pair were filming End of Days in 1999. It comes after Miriam suffered a series of blunders earlier this month after she swore live on TV.
Miriam Margolyes Claims Arnold Schwarzenegger Farted In Her Face
Miriam Margolyes made a wild claim about gross act Arnold Schwarzenegger did to her while filming End of Days.
The British-Australian actress, 81, has claimed Arnold farted in her face while the pair were filming End of Days in 1999. The outspoken Harry Potter star was appearing on news.com.au’s podcast, I’ve Got News For You recently when she told the anecdote.
“Schwarzenegger, didn’t care for him. He’s a bit too full of himself,” she said.
“He was actually quite rude. He farted in my face. Now, I fart, of course I do, but I don’t fart in people’s faces. He did it deliberately, right in my face.”
She then went on to describe the biblical action flick: “I was playing Satan’s sister, and he was killing me, so he had me in a position where I couldn’t escape and lying on the floor. And he just farted.”
“It wasn’t on film, it was in one of the pauses, but I haven’t forgiven him for it.”
Margolyes starred alongside Schwarzenegger in the 1999 horror flick, End of Days in which a New York detective (Schwarzenegger) must protect a young woman who is chosen to conceive the Antichrist with Satan.
It comes after Miriam suffered a series of blunders earlier this month after she swore live on TV. The actress left This Morning viewers in hysterics as she apologised for causing offence in the past with her offensive language, only to swear when making her apology.
After catching herself nearly swearing, Phillip Schofield said: 'It's such a shame because we love it when you just let rip,' to which Miriam responded: 'I know but it upsets some people.
'And I don't want to upset people because the whole thing is, life is s**t at the moment, it really is. It's terrible.'
After realizing she had just sworn anyway, Miriam exclaimed 'Oh!' as Phillip and Holly Willoughby burst out laughing.
'I've let myself down, sorry,' she said. 'I just want to make people happy! I apologise to everybody for that word!'
She also cracked up viewers by sharing a story about actor Leonardo DiCaprio. She said her “Romeo + Juliet” co-star was also a bit stinky on the set of the 1996 Baz Luhrmann movie.
“He was a bit smelly because it was very hot in Mexico and young boys don’t make themselves fragrant, they don’t wash all the bits!” said Margolyes, who played Juliet’s nurse.
Margolyes then went on to jokingly advise the “This Morning” production team to take better care of their hygiene.
Margolyes is best known for starring as Professor Sprout in the Harry Potter movies. The star recently went viral on TikTok, after a video of her talking about sex and Hitler during a Cameo video was shared on the platform.
