Nela Zisser is a 23-year-old model and 2013 Miss Earth New Zealand winner, but she is best known for competitive eating — two things which normally do not go hand-in-hand.

#3 The former Miss Earth New Zealand, who competitively eats as a hobby, has stunned her global army of fans with her latest world record attempt - the 100 McDonald's cheeseburger challenge.
#4 The 23-year-old filmed herself trying to scoff 100 burgers - 50 cheese and 50 chicken, to combat 'flavor fatigue' - in a row at her home in Auckland, with the help of various liquids and sauces.

#5 Despite her valiant effort, she failed to complete the challenge - but still managed to consume an impressive 45 burgers (equaling more than 13,500 calories and a whopping 11.8 pounds of food).

#8 Last month, she gobbled down 22 Big Macs in just under an hour, which tots up to 12,386 calories.

#9 Nela previously told Daily Mail Australia: 'I think the stereotypes about models avoiding fast-food as part of their diet are untrue. She eats tons of fast food and actually had food poisoning when she competed in the World Hunger Pageant.

#11 Unfortunately for Zisser, it wasn’t enough, because while her talents are certainly impressive, she tapped out at 45 burgers over a time span of about two hours — falling nearly 20 burgers short of beating her rival, Japanese competitive eater, Yuka Kinoshita, who currently holds the record at 62 burgers.

#12 In the end, she says that “the taste just got to her” and that she doesn’t think she could do another one. Still, 45 burgers is definitely nothing to sniff at. Not many people can claim to be both a model and a competitive eater, so props to Zisser for living her best life.
