No matter who you are, the quote "think before you speak" goes for everyone. Model Emily Ratajkowski must be having similar thoughts after being bashed by social media people for her inconsiderate post that she made on Instagram recently.

The American model was chosen as the popular hair brand Kerastase's new face and the new achievement made her excited enough to write on Instagram. "Hair is a fundamental part of beauty, femininity, and identity. So excited to announce that I am the new face of Kerastase. Welcome good hair days!" she said. But what the actress did not know was that she had not chosen right words to celebrate her new accomplishment.

Soon after Emily had posted on Instagram, people reacted to her post in a way that the model certainly did not expect. The model's comment was called insensitive and people criticized Ratajkowski's thoughts for feminism. "Extremely offensive. Don't ever think that women with cancer, alopecia or generally thinning hair are less beautiful. True beauty comes from WITHIN," commented one Instagram user.

Another Instagram user raised concerns about old beauty standards and wrote for the women who have shorter hair unlike most of the models these days. "Why not women with shorter hair too? The stereotypical look of these long hair models is so dated. It's the same as saying only women with longer hair are feminine," the Insta user said.

Internet people are so angry at Emily for calling hair "the fundamental part of beauty" that they have started asking Kerastase to remove her as an ambassador. Soon after the model's words had spread fury among the Instagrammers, the brand officials came forward and apologized on Emily's behalf. "We are deeply sorry for offending our fans and followers-it was absolutely not our intention, said the Kerastase officials. "Ofcourse, beauty is not defined by your hair, beauty is something more spiritual, beauty is an attitude coming from inside each of us," the message further said.
